Her talk, titled “Managing Companies and Personal Life with the OKR Method,”highlighted the practical application of Objectives and Key Results (OKR) in achieving a balance between corporate management and personal life.She emphasized: “Modern women need clear goals and efficient execution. OKR is a simple yet powerful tool that helps us find balance across multiple roles and maximize our self-worth.” Her speech provided attendees with valuable and profound management methodologies.

Herpower Global Lady Club and the 2024 Annual Gala
The 2024 HerPower Annual Gala, hosted by the “Herpower Global Lady Club” at the Vancouver University Women’s Club, was themed “The Story of a Rose: Embrace Yourself, Bloom Freely.” The event attracted numerous accomplished women and celebrated the club’s third anniversary, showcasing the resilience and dynamism of modern women.Founded during the global pandemic, the Herpower Global Women’s Club has organized over 100 events in just three years. From intimate women’s salons to grand galas, the club provides a platform for global women to connect, grow, and shine. Its signature Herpower Book Club inspires women through shared readings of classic works, offering unique intellectual enrichment.

The event commenced gracefully with the soothing and timeless sounds of “singing bowl healing.” Attendees, including elite professionals and distinguished guests, gathered to celebrate the club’s three-year milestone. Fifteen outstanding women delivered heartfelt speeches, sharing their unique “Story of a Rose” – stories that ranged from motivational to poignant and thought-provoking.

Anna Wenjuan, Founding Chairwoman of the Herpower Global Lady Club and Founder of Star Ring Immigration and Education, delivered the keynote speech titled “Empower Her: 2024 and Future Outlook” on behalf of the organizers.Anna shared her gratitude as the club celebrated its third anniversary, expressing heartfelt thanks to all friends and supporters of Empower Her. She emphasized the importance of mutual support among women, particularly in overseas communities.

Over the past three years, through collective efforts, Empower Her has organized or supported more than 60 charitable events, assisting over 100 women in launching their businesses or finding employment, making a significant contribution to the community.

The event gracefully commenced with the enchanting and melodious sounds of “singing bowl healing”, creating a serene and timeless atmosphere.
The club’s Herpower Book Club has maintained a monthly tradition of reading one book together, guiding its members through 24 classic masterpieces to date. Staying true to its commitment to philanthropy, Empower Her has consistently supported the century-old women’s organization YWCA. In just two years, it successfully achieved its goal of donating CAD 50,000 to the YWCA’s Single Mothers Support Program, exemplifying its core mission: Girls Help Girls.
The event was co-hosted by Grace and Kenneth, with one of the biggest highlights being the inspiring speeches delivered by 15 remarkable women, affectionately dubbed the”Iron Roses.”Each speaker shared their unique “Rose Story” — some motivational, some deeply moving, and others thought-provoking. These stories authentically reflected the challenges women face today. More importantly, they conveyed the unyielding spirit of modern women in overcoming obstacles, embracing self-discovery, and achieving their goals.

The heartfelt narratives resonated deeply with the audience, evoking a wave of tears and applause. With depth, warmth, and impact,these stories captured the hearts of everyone present, leaving the audience profoundly touched and inspired.
